Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the work of the All Nations Health Partners Ontario Health Team takes place on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe people, within the lands of Treaty #3. We recognize and honour the 28 First Nations in this territory, whose enduring relationships with the land, waters, and all living things continue to guide and sustain life in this region.

We are grateful to live and work alongside Anishinaabe communities, Métis peoples, and all Indigenous peoples who have cared for these lands since time immemorial. We acknowledge their ongoing leadership as stewards of the environment, and we respect the teachings and responsibilities they hold in the protection of natural resources for future generations.

As a health system grounded in partnership, we commit to reconciliation and the ongoing process of decolonizing our work. We strive to walk together in respect, humility, and shared purpose toward improved health and wellbeing for all Nations.
